poor man types r ay? what happened to your type r hatchy you were runnin ur mouth about?????

anyways. arp rod bolts and dual valve springs. you could use stock valves. But the real question isn't how to rev out to 9k. It should be. How to make power to 9k. Just cuz ur revvin out to 9k and it sounds fast doesn't mean your making power all they way!

Spoon rotating assembly? you watch too much fast n the furious.

so if you build it right and get it tuned correctly you'll be fine.

                Yo dog, are you serious>?

                LOL!!!!!!!!!!

Just FYI, cams have nothing to do with how high a motor car rev. Take your block, disassemble, and bring it to a machine shop, have them balance the entire rotating assembly and rebuilt the motor using new rings and bearings. Then put spring and retainers on your head, (not used ones), Skunk 2, Supertech, Ferrea, Buddyclubs, Blox.........get a name brand one, all those eBay branded are garbage and will fail.

Then get a good reliable street tune and you all set.

cams def. have everything to do with it....if ur running ls then def. get arp rod bolts so u dont stretch the originals at high rpm and then the cams u choose determines what the engine will make power to. otherwise your valves will float at 9000rpm with stock cams. when u purchase big cams they will suggest or even say not to use stock springs with their set of cams. any questions pm me.

honetly cams have everything to do with the way a car performs. Simple springs and retainers will work but the power brand will drop after 5k. Now with some good cams the power band will continue to rise (depending on the cam). Hope this helps
