  • Car died and subs seem to high at lowest volume

So last week i left my foglights on and my car died at work, so i retuned my head unit to the settings they were at before but now they subwoofers are just too loud and i cant seem to get them tuned right. what are some suggestions maybe something with the amp?

Crossover is for you to adjust the bass to how you want it. Or just go to the back of your amp and bring the bass down.

your gains are too high on your amp

                        or

you Headunit has the low pass option too high

probably made a huge draw out of your car, probably toasted your alternator

theres only a "high pass filter" option nothing about low pass and i have it set to 100hz and my alternator is fine its brand new but what i dont get is if the subs sounded great exactly how i wanted them before the car died why would the gains make them way louder when i charged the car? settings on the amp were never touched from the factory

thats the problem the frequency is set too high turn the freq on the amp down usually i try to match the settings of the box or if its a sealed box then ill set it as close to 60hz as possible
