    can somone tell me the torque spec for an ls head

          Kinda hard to explain, but my best explanation, Put the motor TDC. Make sure the white mark on your crank pulley lines up with the mark on your plastic lower timing cover. Pull #1 lug put dipstick in to make sure you are TDC, Put your cam gears in the UP position and line up the 2 little lines on the inside of each of em to make sure they are even. Put the belt on make sure your pulley doesn't slide away from TDC. Spin it, tighten tensioner, spin it around and make sure it is still on timing. It's not as hard as everyone thinks. But it's kinda hard to explain on the internet. Make sure you tighten the head in the right pattern too!
