  • Skipped timing on my vtec motor ideas??

I went to go wore up my msd on my car and when I went to start it I got a crazy loud back fire sounded like I shot gun going off thought it was the dizzy that had fucked up and got a new one. Put it in and nothing got like a cloud of smoke coming out of like the head gasket so pretty sure I skipped timing but not sure if I ended up bending valves ideas of what kind of trouble im in.

sounds like you are dumping fuel into the combustion chamber. where did you wire the msd into? you didnt splice into the injector harness did you?

cylinder one has no gap at all and the gap gets bigger as you check the other cylinders like two is barely no gap three is a very lil gap and four is like a normal or so gap when i put them in i gaped to spec and put the antizees not a rockie but i do believe in lube lmao

Take your valve cover off and put your motor on tdc(top dead center) and check your timing marks on the cams and crank..if there good I doubt you bent valves..also double check the msd wiring
