  • LS VTEC Help! desperatley needed

I have a friend who is trying to steup his ls vtec oil line. The fitting to the block is connected and he used a hole that was up top to feed the oil into the head. He unscrewed a screw and was used as a plug apparently and connected the oil line to it. Now his problem is that it's leaking for the block. He used teflon tape and it's tightened a lot. Now the thought is that i may be causing back pressure causing it to leak from the block. ANY HELP would be appreciated. He's trying to get this car on the road today lmk guys, and thanks a lot

Where is the oil line being tapped off of? Are you using a T-fitting where the oil pressure switch goes, or do you have a sandwich plate? Try using some honda bond on the T-fitting threads instead of teflon tape, but give atleast an hour to cure before starting the car.

Is it leaking from the back right corner, if in the car. Like right under the throttle body? Sounds like he forgot to plug the head. You gotta plug the bottom of the head.
