  • crankshaft fluctuation sensor

    i'm in the process on putting my gsr block together, what i will like to know is ,the block the i got right now is a obd1 that doesnt have the ckf sensor and is going in a 96 integra, im going to be running with a obd1 ecu, will i need to buy the ckf sensor or it will be alright with out it?

    No you wont need the CKF Sensor to run, but it wont pass emissions with your stock ECU, & they wont even test you with an OBD1 ECU. Just get a NEW OEM GSR/ITR Oil pump that has the mounting tabs for the CKF sensor, then install the sensor, & your golden, you can still use your OBD1 ECU, but when it comes time to bring that B!tch thru emissions, you'll be all set.

      i have the same problem i think, i have a 96 integra with obd2 engine with obd 1 dizzy and mani, with obd1 ecu and wiring, so this won't be able to pass emissions?
