Need help with a mechanical question!!

Ok im kinda new at things like this so cut me slack lol..so I just got this 95 del sol. But it has a b18 swap. The car has a bad axel/cv joint on it's right side. Do I buy the axel for the make and model of the car or do I buy it for the engine?
