tuner toys and srp's???

i got a d16z6 with srp pistons and tunertoyz rod. what good power numbers well tuned out of this kinda set up on lets sat 10 to 14 psi. arp head studs and good fuel??

Having a "built" motor doesn't really give you more power. It gives you the ability to boost safely without blowing up your motor as if it were stock. Having a "built" motor can take the abuse of adding a turbo to your application. So to answer your question, depending on teh size of the turbo, and that broad range of boost, Id say 200-250whp.

thanks that more then i am looking for out of this just cuz it is my daily driver buti would be happy with a 200 to 230 range.

i was askin more along the lines of is this combo a good combo i never used eather. but i got the motor already runnin with this stuff in it and the oilpump let go on me killing the crankshaft so i replaced with new crankshaft and oilpump and i am going to the dyno for a tune

question, what compression are the pistons?


Plus, what kind of main and rod bearings did you use?

ya i here david is good from many but i have a good friend that chips and tunes for me if he is to busy then i will be call david.

i used all ACL's on the main and rods.

i got the motor runnin and put it in my daily well it had a unorthdox underdrive pully that caused the oilpump to let go and ruin the crank and mains so it got a new block .20 over new rings. 8.5 to1 compression.

the head is a y8 head zex cam all new valves and seals and a P&P job.

SI tranny act 6 puck unsprung .

my buddy builds maifolds so he made me a log with a 300zx turbo 2.5 down pipe ebay intercooler types BOV ebay knock off wastegate. and a set of dsm 510 yellow tops so i am hopeing for ok number on pump gas for a daily driver( i only drive 2 miles to work) so a fun daily driver

when you have a built motor you can't settle for less.........it was built for power..it could be for sale for the right money.........
