weird problem with my exhaust piping

i had an exhaust leak but i brought it to a shop for them to cut the bolt that was rusted and broken out and they put a new bolt with a spring on it in they tightened it up and i went home car was driving fine but then i gave my car a lil more throttle and realized that the car wouldn't go past 20 in 1st gear???? so i tried hitting it and the car felt like it hit the brakes by its self. i tried a couple more times and got that same thing and then driving home the hissing sound came back a lil bit =( anyone have any suggestions?

maybe it is a clogged catalytic converter.

yep its clogged a good amount of ppl told me that so when i get a new one i should jus bring it to a shop and get it welded on right

yo.. are you under 150,000 miles?.. if so, try bringing it to honda and they might replace it for free.. its part of that obd-II law thingy. thats what i did to my black hatch.

next time you get the chance.. leave your car idling for 20 min then look under at the cat. if its red hot.. it should be clogged.

and my car has 196'*** -_- sucks so i dunno if their still gonna do it ajay told me to call him today so he can call someone that works at honda and ask them about it gracias on the info

yea...g/l on it cause cats are hella expensive...you can always get a highflow cat that's a little cheaper
