i got a jdm d15b block with a 1.6 vtec head can i used the vx d15z1 timing belt ...????? or do i need the z6 belt...???

well i heard along ass time ago i could use the z1 but it is smaller then the z6 belt cause i know the stock on wont fit

yo ma dude use a z6 bcuz the 1.5 cam gear has 1 less tooth than a 1,6 head feel me 1.5 belt iz gna be too tight will break

you need a y8 cam gear to make up for the half a tooth in difference and then you need to run a z1 belt.

i had about a week of not gettin it to be in time till i found out you need the y8 gear it is 25 bucks new from the dealer,

i di dnot do it for power i did it because the head and block combo i got really low compression in the 8' and i have a turbo set up on it so i did it for on power low end power and safe power since it is in my girl 4 door civic and i use it to town a lil trailer for my quad and i travle with it alot
