d16a1 vtec

Im building a mini swap and need to know if the z6 head will bolt up and work with the d16a1 block. Reason being is that the pistons(pm7) will give me about a 12:1 cr annnd the cylinder walls are thicker than the d16a block i have.

no not all d16 cam vtec what is the d16a1 out of? what head did it have on it?

the a1 cam out of a 89 integra. its a 1.6L and it had a dohc head on it

idk what you are goign to put that in but i hope you know that the motor mount is really stupid and i hard to get right with out mods. also you better off with a zc or a d16a6 with some p29 pistions.

the engine will bolt in with d series mounts, i have everything that i need except a crank. so i really dont want to spend money on something i already have that i can use

no it wont one or two of the head bolts do not bolt up at all.
