    I got a 98 civic with a d16y8.Its my daily so im not tryna go crazy building it but i need a little more horse power.Im tired of getting beat by escorts in the morning on my way to work lmao.I already have a catback exhaust,cold air intake,header,aem underdrive pulleys,vtec sticker.What else can i do thats somewhat simple to add a little power power??

    lmfao i was just thinking about this no joke!....i remember reading a article in some honda mag about "saving money while building your D-Series" ....and plz people if im wrong feel free to correct me....but it said something to the effect of taking pistons from a 89-90 interga block and putting them in to a d16 for more power and higher compression....then a b18c5....

      better clutch set up... some accord injectors.... walboro fuel pump and yu''ll be good to go race them escorts lol i advice yu not to race swapped hondas

          Oh also comes to mind...when I had my old soch 1.5 I ran a different ecu that helped a shit load

                vitar pistons...cam unless u boost it its kinda worthless n wont be fast...i got a single jingle and gave up lol...

                      damn u should have been all set with that vtec sticker. i got like 15 horse from each 1, and i have 2 so thats 30 hp right there! urs must be broken lmao!!. g/l tho i need the same advice too

                          how would it?? hes not boosting it and its just got bolt ons the stock injecotrs will still have a ton of room left as they are. adiing more fuel and not tuning it is just gonna make it bog n run like shit

                              I was using a chipped p28 I don't recommend that for daily driving...and watch your rpms ...but it sure the hell worked
