Oil question

When I bought my car they guy always used royal purple so I followed suit.after awhile of paying $8.50 a quart I want to switch to a cheaper synthetic.the question is am I able to do so with out any problems or should I keep using the purple.it's a ej8 with a y8 if that make a difference.

its ok to change..royal purp is a very fine oil ..your just going to use a diff quality

jus keep usin it dude may be exspensive but its better for ur car nd i believe if u do change it wont make a diff after u do an oil change

i work doing oil changes bro you will be fine if you change the oil as long as the motor is lubricated thats all that matters

hell no hondas take 5w30 and some take 5w20 never put 10w30 in a honda ud deff spin a bearing sooner or later if u go to car quest and get there 5w30 full synthetic its penzoil and its 5 n change a quart.. which is one of the top of the line synthetics out there and royal purple is good but its not approved for street use....

i went to school to work on cars n now im a chevy tech dont ever put diff oil in a car even if it getting older or tired if it says 5w30 u use 5w30 till the day it die
