95 ex ignition help

So my civic just left me on the side of the road for the second time in a month. Last time I swapped out the distributor. This time it sounds like the exact same thing. No spark everything else seems to work. So I'm wondering if there could be something else wrong or could I just have bad luck and gotten a distributor on its way out. Could I change any parts on it instead of buying a whole other distributor?
It's a 95 ex w/ vtec 4dr by the way.

its prolly the coil you just could swap it out

check to see there is 12v at the coil. take the diz apart its on the top 2 wires going to it
