I'm assuming the "person" who installed the MAP sensor and Hondata is the same person who installed his timing belt 12 degrees off, and his EBC with no vaccuum source as well. I know EXACTLY what you mean about know-it-alls

Nope, you got the wrong guy. That's greg i think. But mark came to my shop and told me that the person who "Tuned" his car put a 3 bar map sensor and hondata s200 in it, when there was a s100 chip and the stock map sensor. Said the kid's name was louis, and he was from the valley. I dunno about the EBC with no vaccuum sources, or the timing belt problem, i'm not all on Mark like you sound to be. All i know was he came to my shop claiming you installed items, and they were gone like a magic trick. That sounds like you are real reliable to me. =)203 Crew Member #11

Well, Mark is at school at franklyn pierce (Sp?) and comes down every other weekend. Sure he won't care if you call and ask him, if you would like, PM me and i will give you his number. I just don't see why people advertise services when they don't do them right. Doesn't make sense to me as a hard working man. If I say I have done something, or will do it, it gets done. I don't charge people for things I actually haven't done.203 Crew Member #11

Also, mark had no knowledge of possesing a GM map sensor. He said the parts were all installed by you and ready to be tuned. 700 dollars of installation and parts later, and then we could finally get to business and actually tune the car, like we said we would. I do things when I say I do them. Otherwise, you get a bad rap, yanno? =)203 Crew Member #11

Only facts that I can confirm to make this clusterbomb of text clear.
Mark brought his car to 1917 Boston ave, D&G Auto LLC. He asked to get the car tuned. Claimed he had a 1 bar spring in the wastegate. We asked what the car would be tuned on. He said a man named louis who lives or works in the valley, installed s200. We opened the computer, and there was only an s100 chip. We then asked if he had a 3 bar map sensor since he wanted to run around 20lbs with an EBC. He said louis had installed that as well. We opened the hood and there was a stock map sensor pluged in.
That is the information I know about louis. He sounds like a sure shot to work on cars.203 Crew Member #11

And the proof is in the pudding... Mark didn't even KNOW he was buying a 3-BAR GM MAP? Oh... my... god. I have nothing else to say.
Here is this whole story wrapped up in a nutshell.
1. Louis builds del Sol for wife. T04e boosted B16A2 del Sol, stock motor. Car runs hard, flawless compression, etc. Tony Ho can vouch for how hard it ran and smooth.
2. Louis sells car to Mark in a bidding war between Mark and an EDUCATED buyer (who I should have really sold it to).
3. Mark takes car, and goes WOT every day, all day, from CT, to NY, back and forth, for about a year. KILLS the stock B16A2 (ringlands).
4. Mark hires me to rebuild engine. I give him my COST on every part needed. I go out of my way to help him out (I felt sorry for him throughout all of this for some reason). I rebuilt shortblock top to bottom, and install head and motor. Runs flawless again.
5. With built motor now, Mark wants to turn boost up. I order *S100* for around $200 at the time and a GM 3 BAR MAP. The car was on the dyno briefly before the MAP but the OEM MAP was acting up over 11 psi as expected. I sold Mark the parts in a hand-off fashion. *I did not touch the car*. Keeping in mind that during this whole thing, Mark brought the car by my house because it was "hittin' mad boost y0!"... and realized that whoever had installed a Profec B for him, DID NOT CONNECT IT TO A VACCUUM SOURCE. Can you say 40+ psi on stock sleeves? There is a SLEW of other things I have seen gone down with that car since I sold it... all of which I have nothing to do with. The car has been hit, raped, and beat on from the second it left my hands. I welcome Mark to join the forums to hear any other side but mine.
All in all, I don't care what a couple of thuggie kids care about me. I build cars as a hobby. Those who know me personally, know my work ethics and attention to details. Those are the only people I build for/with anyway.
Thanks for your time.
- Louis
