True Or False On Trannys?

I heard that honda designed Third Gear to be the most powerful Gear on all trannys except auto trannys.. True or False? Or myth? I forgot to mention they call it "POWER GEAR" when i was reading honda-tunning magazine.

Isn't third gear in more of the honda transmissions the closest gear 1:1, as in actual power, or something like that?

yah tank third is pretty much a 1:1 making it the stronger of all gears but you have more torque in first gear primarily to move all the weight of the car from a stand still!

ya 3rd in a honda 5 speed tranny is the strongest and you were to take one apart and look at it as welll it the biggest oneinthere!

yea if you don;t know how to drive. i've beat on plenty of honda trannies never had one that grinded yet.

with enough power it will in forth and fifth. it all depends on power and traction

even wit my auto integra.. 3rd pulls hard, so hard it makes me think that im hittin vtec... i dont have vtec lol
