If you need a serious alignment down to the exact specs then try these places:

Autotechnic in New Milford: http://www.autotechnic.net. The alignment guy does the job with hand tools. It's $75 an hour though, but it's not your usual in and out as long as it's close enough kind of shop.

Jannetty's Racing in Waterbury is good too: http://www.jannettyracing.com. They can also corner weigh your car and have the best equipment. They usually do alignments on real race cars.

went today to Tires + Plus Wheels to get my car aligned. First off, I was told over the phone it would be 59.99. I get there and it becomes 21 questions about my car. Basically he guy says "oh it's lowered it is 79.99. So whatever not to cause a scene, I pay the 79.99. car gets on the lift with no issues.

Time comes to get the car off, the guy gets high centered and gets the front stuck on the lift in the middle of the alignment lift. he tries to go it won't, so he goes back forward and moves that lift. car comes off...I get in put it into first and start to pull away and bam car doesn't move anymore.

put it through all the gears, it isnt a clutch or trans problem.

passenger axle was ok, driver side outer joint is ************ED up.

not sure what happened...coincidence...maybe or maybe not, but I would not go back there again.
