Ctvtec staff is asking our members to help us keep the site online.
Some of the ways to keep the site alive is by spreading the word, do alot of browsing throughout the site and by visitng our sponsors on the top of each page and on the sides.

It would be alot easier for us to Help out if you were a man of your word. I think we have all been waiting for the CTvTEC Track day at Lebanon that you promised back in Feb.

We actually had everything setup and going smooth, then they wanted to charge around 75 dollars per car. We wanted to get spots for around 200 cars, and they wouldnt work with us because people would only get about 2 runs..We are still in the process of doing something with them and also doing things at other locations also.

Things are not that easy to be done, unless people do not mind paying that much. I personally think the outcome wouldnt be that great if we ended up charging 75, and that is without us making any money.


As for the other comment above, There is a reason why swearing is not allowed. We are not like other websites to allow it, we would like to represent our selfs as a much more mature group. You could have a conversation without swearing, you could also ask questions without swearing. It also lowers the amount of problems on the site.
I am not asking for money for my pocket, but i am asking money for the site to improve the site.

I agree with your decision to find a better deal, or track, but you should have kept us informed, as we have all been waiting for at least up-dates. As far as we know, you just blew it off. As far as CTvTEC as a site goes, I love this site, just due to the fact that it's local Meeting place, & market place for people with the same interests. I will do whatever it takes to keep the site alive, out of respect to the other users, but my opinion, is Dont ask for help, if you dont carry the same respect for us, as we do for this site.

As far as cursing, not being able to curse does not affect my appreciation to this forum

I say stop deleting threads without warning or reason. Next reach out to the local shops and tuners for sponsor deals. Worst case, sign up with LinkShare. I doubt many people will donate, but if you setup a end of the season car show - that'll be your money (easy) right therr.

end of season car show sounds good like sometime in oct before ppl put their cars away for the winter

I understnad what you are saying to keep everyone updated, we have been extreamly busy trying to upgrade the site.
As for posts getting deleted, they are never done with no reason. There has to be a reason for the threads to get deleted. If we feel there is a need to warn before deleting then we will warn. Some things just get out of hand, before they do we must just delete everything.

We have contacted many local shops, most of the shops do not have the proper funds to sponsor the site. Everyone would like things for free, and thats not how this world really works :)

End of the summer car show we are actually putting that together. It will be held in Waterbury, CT. The location and date should be annouced within 2 weeks I hope depending on how our meetings go.
We are working hard with the city to make it one of the best car shows, Maybe have a couple runs on a main street, dedicated to CTvtec.com Members only. We will see how this goes.

7-80 cars is nothing though, but the cars will get alot of runs.

We need min 200 spots. When i put together a meet in waterbury at times, there are about 70 cars that show up, and most of them are just from waterbury.

when where these meets cuz i never heard of them and as far as donating i will donate a few bucks when waterbury shows us that they could host a meet so far other cities did something 4 this site except u guys
by the away y r most of the mods from waterbury since u guys dont do nothing 4 this site all u guys do is sit a home and press delete do something helpfull like a get2gether or something

hell yea!!! prime example is the memorial day meet tone and alison put together and admin sent out a mass PM saying everybody go and none of the waterbury heads showed and that was fcuked up! show us support and we show it back
