registering a car if title didnt come in yet?

Trying to pick up an STi from a guy but apparently he requested a title but it hasn't came in yet, anyone know if I'd be able to register it still with the bill of sale or would I have to wait til he gets it?

This question has been frequently asked.. U cannot register a car without at title unless u buy the car from a state like RI where they have no titles. And no a bill of sale is not enough

U can if he goes with u to DMV and fill out a transfer of ownership,etc

theirs also a form he can fill out and have notarized for a lostr title cost an addittional 25 when you register it just did it that way
