Best buys decent but alot of the installers just come in and learn I've been doing it scince 2000 and seen alot of products come and go. see if they can install with a multi meter and power probe no instructions then I'm impressed.

I myself would not bother installing a alarm or remote starter unless I charge $100+ on labor.sometimes it's alot of work for so little money.if the Op decides to take his car to best buy, check out the best buy in Norwalk and have Jerome do your install. Gl with what ever choice you choose.

Well I can assure anyone that when I did installs at best buy,I was thought to solder every wire. I always tested each wire with my multimeter, etc. I taped every single wire available. I zip tied, etc etc. But like mentioned before, not every installer does the same work.Originally posted by knuckk@jdmdikk only dude i would take advice from.

oh i agree MR Dikk but at the same time america is brain washed with the big box stores like bestbuy and walmarts etc. they forget about the good mom and pops stores. That is the reason why best buy has an enemy now. They wanted to take out all the mom and pop shops so a few places with actual capital started internet sales. Everyone needs to survive. Now almost every joe smo sells online and nickel and dimes everything. Look at TV sales best buy created there own worst enemy. They cannot compete with online sales. They wanted to undercut the mom and pop stores by putting tv's at dealer cost and keeping the back money on the TV's. Well the mom and pops stores with money faught back. Take a look at the un55d6300- bestbuy sells for 1699.99 after tax-1802 when you can buy the same tv shipped to your door for 1,539.00 with no tax at eastcoasttvs.com. i buy that tv for 1499. they are making 39$ on that tv lol. Get my point. My turbo is louder then yours!!!

Yes sir I do..well I voiced my opinions on this thread. There are plenty of people who can do the install for the OP but it will not be cheap. I think that the price he has been quoted is already cheap enough considering that it includes parts, labor, etc.Originally posted by knuckk@jdmdikk only dude i would take advice from.

jay this is where i disagree with u,seein that i work for bestbuy install bay i can tell u now not every bay/installer does the same quality work.i've got plenty of members here under my belt n i can assure u can look under there dash n wont know where anything is (hence the reason ive yet to have a car stolen after my install) another reason i tuck everything is having any joe try n tamper with anything acting like he know's what hes doin he wouldnt have a clue where to start, unfortunatley some of the best buys dont follow operation standards n do quick half ass jobs (customers come to my location for repair smh) but that also 9/10 happens when the customers doesnt wana pay/or wants it done in 10min lol so u get what u pay for..i dont do it that way,u drop ur car off for the minimum 3hours or so depending on whats goin in n by the time im done the car looks stock as in nothing is there...sorry for anyone who's had a bad experience threw best buy but like i said some ppl dont take the same pride in there work like i do...Money ain't a thing! and eg i aggree with you also but think about how many of those places actually take pride into there jobs. Not saying your location nor jdm's location but really how many. Im not saying im im the best in the world but throw a best buy employee to do a 2012 ford focus or a new 2012 civic ( which may i add is on canbus now) they will be a mess.My turbo is louder then yours!!!

flashlogic is Made by idatalink. There is a recall on all flashlogic products right now due to software glitches and the new 2012 focus is a very hard car to do yes its a canbus car but you also have can low ms and hs and can high ms and hs that need to be tide correctly or toasty BCM. then you throw the monkey wrench in there making the card standard. Now when remote started it has to see a pulse from the door in order to stay on or it will just shut down. Im a xpress and idata guy adsalca and dball works charmMy turbo is louder then yours!!!
