Detailing your car?

Hey guys, well i got some fine scratches and oxidation on my car and was wondering what do you consider on using to take all that stuff out. Has anyone ever tried Meguiar Scratch X on there car or a clay bar? What do you consider that works good? Pictures would be nice too if you got any..:D

I am the master at detailing black cars...lol...maybe not but I'm pretty good...I'll do yours if you pay me...but that's gotta wait until I'm done with school in May.

If you wanna do it yourself, you can go to autozone and buy the megiuars 3 step...along with a clay bar. Or you can order some real good ************ from autogeek.net

Very nice chris, how much was the meguiars 3 step application and the clay bar? Because the worst part of my car would be my front bumper, it has alot of oxidation, from rain, dirt, pollution, etc... blah, my car needs to shine out there now LOL!

Clay bar kit is like 12-15 bucks...and the meguiars 3 step is 3 different bottles...they're about 6-8 dollars each...then you should get some applicators and microfiber towels. You shouldn't spend no more that 50 dollars.

paint job is not coming in untill fall of this year, i got to get ready to install the swap ya digg.. but my paint on my car now is still good, i just need to put some time and buffing on it and it should come out shiny agian.

Hush Hush young grass hopper, you have to think technical. I already know its always motor first, because i can always use walmart $1 spray cans to paint my bad ass ride! LOL

Invest some money in a porter cable or Ultimate Detailing Machine from autogeek, and get some meguiers #83 and #82 for fine oxidation and swirls.

Just finished doing my car, spend a good $50+ on some meguiars and some other products just to let my car shine.. ill take pictures tonite..
