been looking for a beater car and found this, not the nicest body but idc about that. its a 1989 civic si with a sohc vtec swap, owner says it runs perfect. the body has some rust and paint is crap but do you think its worth $900 as beater if ir tuns and drives good. going to check it out tomorrow and would like to see what honda people think.

Your crazy if u pay $900 for that pos. I have bought some pretty nice cars over the years for under $900. I just sold a 2000 dodge dakota with 120,000 miles on it that needed a battery for $2200. I bought it for $450. I also just picked up a 2000 for explorer fully loaded for under $800. Look around and don't get played for some junk.
