  • So who here has a hook up with a paint job?

Im going to be doing all the work on my car as far as body panels. I need to fix a ton of rust spots and some dents but if i primered the car and got that all taken care of who can spray it? Looking to do either a real good pearl black, like the stock granada black pearl, or the 99-00 SI EBP blue. looking for some prices, its a 95 Dx coupe. would be willing to help out if its someone in their garage or whatever. thanks guys!

I know this guy who does real good work. he works for skips autobody in prospect. and he can do it in your garage(just because its not a booth doesnt mean anything). hell charge depending on your cars condition and whatnot but i can garunte it will be cheaper than a body shop. hit up highoutputauto on here. he knows the dude good.

honestly, grab the paint you want from a paint place, my boy works at Paul Francis in BPT if you need a hook up on paint, and bring it to a Maaco. The prep work is more important than actually painting it. The one in Hamden does great work. They are all independently owned, so if you've heard horror stories about one, it's because of the people working there.

Do the prep work yourself, have Macco spray it, then get to wetsanding and buffing and you'll be straight.

I have seen a couple cars w/ Maaco paint that did not look bad. All in the prep
