  • I'm stumped..leak help asap

I've had this leak I've been chasing for a while now and still can't pin point where it's coming into my car. I've checked the floor board no holes, weather striping is in okay condition, possibly could still be from lack of fender ling. But it only happens when the car is rolling and the water accumulates in back of the drivers seat on the floor and a Lil under the front driver seat. Idk where else to look, willing to pay someone to fix it cause I'm getting aggravated with it already want done ASAP but not trying to get taxed.

    Anyone in particular?

i had a problem like this with my 97 civic 4dr and it would fill the driver front floor only i had my buddy poor water with a hose on the driver side only and i stood in the car with a light and it was comin in threw the panels so i took the fender off poored water down the windsheild and followed the water poor down from under the fender into a hole were there is suppose to be a plug so i plugged it and problem was gone.

check to see if theres suppose to be a rubber plug on the pillar between the two doors. have somone poor the car with a water hose and trace it from inside out man.

hope this helps good luck with find

my EF took on water like a goddamn boat. I had no fender liners, but i never confirmed the actual cause.

so you need someone to use a hose over your problem area and help you find whee its comming from...? see if you go down to the car wash and have someone mist water on the car and your inside checking the panels out...it happens at my job some times a customer complains about a water leak and we find it and replace the bad part alot of times its the rubber grommet around the door..

if you have a DA integra (2 or 4 door), im almost positive its the plastic grommets underneath the plastic cowl vent panel (the piece that sits underneath the windshield wipes). very common problem with the older integras besides the ICU and climate control issues. the grommets get worn over time and allow water to seep in on the passenger side of the firewall area. its a cheap fix, theres tons of write ups online if you google it too. i gotta fix the problem on both of my DA's. o yea, and itll eventually fry out the blower motor so thatll probably be your next repair. let me know if you have any questions bro
