Lots of ignorance in this thread.

Your cut springs are lowering your car....which is causing the alignment to be off. Tires are wearing too quickly because they aren't going straight down the road. Tire balance has absolutely zero to do with wear. It'll vibrate and be uncomfortable but balance does not affect tread life.

Get the tires balanced, get an alignment. The alignment is what is causing premature wear.

Cut springs is gonna make your car ride like crap if there cut too much an your tires are gonna wear if you haven't gotten an alignment since you cut them an listen to him about camber cause that car in the pic has alot of camber cause I aligned it before toe is your major wear adjustment

So do I ABSOLUTELY NEED new springs to prevent the premature wear?? Or will an alignment do the trick??

Your good on cut springs, everyone else just thinks their cool with their fully adjustable coilovers overs (not hating, I have em myself). Get new tires get an alignment and then will go on from there.

x2 ive rocked cut springs in the past...never had an issue because ive never cut them in half....lol
ima little past that point in my life so im more towards full 1 piece now...but i mean if ur car doesnt ride bad and isnt super low, id recomend a cheap camber kit and an alignment...half the ppl telling you to get coil overs are on cut springs lmao

The camber kit will help but if it's eating your tires like crazy its definitely you inner tie rods. I'm having the exact same problem. My tires are cambered up in not even 1 month Ina half. The tie rod is only like 25 buck at auto zone.

I'm not talking about camber. I have a camber kit. I'm talking about the tread in the tires goes really fast.

the only thing a cut spring would cause is uneven tire wear if you were bouncing after every bump, its obviously the toe.

Look I do alignments it's my job coilovers are for someone who is gonna be adjusting the heigh your tires are wearing cause your toe is probably off with the toe being in spec alot of negative camber won't really matter you could still see some inside wear but will happen over time and your tie rods may not even be bad more than likely you need an alignment....an fyi balancing won't cause wear That's so you can drive comfortably without a shake in the wheel or seat
