So I'm just asking this question for a friend of mine who recently purchased, mind you I know very little about Hondas and their engine management and rom system, I'm more of a Nissan guy but here goes. He recently purchased an 04 TSX Automatic (family car but wants to have a little fun) I know they have a K24 in them and they're pretty good platforms. My question is about tuning, he already has an cai, header, catback, lightweight pulleys, and supposedly a test pipe on the way but as far as tuning would he yield higher gains at the dyno with K-Pro/Flash-Pro or Hondata, and which one would be more reliable since again this is a "fun" family car. All your constructive input is greatly appreciated, and those who will flame me for not knowing "basics of honda tuning" as I said earlier I'm a Nissan guy so MAH BAD FO' ASKIN' TO EDUCATE MAHSELF!!! Thanks!

Hondata is the company who makes kpro/flash pro.

Like Ls/vtec said hondata makes flashpro and k pro they're just different systems. Pretty sure you gotta get flash pro for a tsx which is like $700 and you gotta get an 08 tsx ecu which isn't cheap either. Your best bet would be to call up the shop he's planning on getting it tuned at and ask what they suggest. They're gonna known better than anybody what will work best for his setup

Cool thanks for the info I'll look into it, and I was doing some reading, and from the looks of it, if he's going to get a 08+ ECU he might as well get an 06-08 Head to go with it to get the most gains since from my reading they have the most aggressive cam lobe stock.
