I just traded my h22 accord for a 92 GSR with a ls motor and s1 tranny in it. The car also came with a almost complete turbo kit, including a garret t3 TB0356 turbo (i belive) that im pretty shure came off a older saab 900 or something..
Its got some shaft play and has a small coating of oil and sludge build up in both the compressor and turbine housing. So ive decided to rebuild it before i use it.
The DA used to be boosted with this same turbo, but ive never seen it run so idk if it smoked or anything. All the inducers/exducers are mint and no stress cracks are visible..
Im just looking for some tips from some one who has rebuilt a few turbos in their day. All help is appreciated.
