  • b16 boostin 6psi ? alotta wrinkles to iron out !

    Im runnin 6 psi on a stock daily driven b16... im not lookin for any thing crazy I jus want it to be realiable. im thinkin bout tunin it my boy has a uberdata ecu for like $100. im thinkin bout copin. but i was wonderin if i had to tune it boostin only 6 psi. some kid tol me somethin bout a boost controlled fmu. idk . hit me up !

      tuning is the only way to keep it reliable and drivable without it going all crazy, fmu is sort of a crutch for people who cant tune so they use fmu's which are garbage in my opinion, get a tune call dave 860-805-0968

        yea..i gotta get that ecu..should i get anything else...injectors,fuel reg,fuel pump ect...i would be happy with 200-230 Hp. i've heard 250 is max...but i wanna stay realiable its a dd. ...........Thanx for feed back ....:D

          get the ecu call dave in advance so he could give you a breakdown on what you need and don't need fmu will not be utilized most likely in a dave tune and you are going to get yourself a tune that will make your car reliable and also give it some pep for when you wanna have fun give him a call asap trust me you will be happy with the outcome and remember your car is only as good as it's tune you could have alot of good stuff and not perform very well and also have a little and still perform reliably good luck

            dont use FMU, junk.... theres times ive seen them stick and cars completely lean out... also you dont get the timing retard you need for boost applications, dont use the missing link, dont use any of that junk, get a chip for cheap and have it tuned, i do ones around torrington area
