Which were the shocks designed/designated to be on? I believe the front forks are different (da's diamater that holds the shocks are bigger than ef's) but correct me if I'm wrong.

there for a da but im pretty sure they fit ef's thats what i been told

hes not 100% sure what the drop is and hes located in prospect

Just did some research and the DA suspension will go into an EF...and the shocks have a more aggressive valving. EG/EK/DC will also swap over but you need the forks to make it work...or modify the stock ones.
