    looking for aftermarket free floating 81 mm bore pistons nothing past 11.6:1 comp/r lmk asap!!!

    if u want full floating then just get eagle,wiseco,cp or have a machine shop make them full floating,,,its what i had to do..

          i would def do that an if u do that ur goin to have to get 81.5 mm so they can bore it and the pistons will fit right..and there will be no blow by or nothin

            basically when you have stock rods with pistons,,the pistons are compressed,,when u buy after market rods like eagle,etc,,they are full floating..meaning that the pistoms need to have clips on the sides in order to hold the wrist pin in place..u can take a piston to a machine shop and have it made to full floating..

                he said that he has aftermarket rods..thats y he wants to kno a lil more info on the whole full floating thing...

                  ***u should get a bigger piston (oversized),,so if your stock bore is 81mm then get 81.5mm and bore out the block so that the piston doesnt have any play and fits nice and tight..if you go with 81mm then when your warming up the car ,,you will hear a knocking noise..
