lol k is way better then b first off b's are way less dependable then a k I have had all motor turbo and bottle b17 b16 b18c b20v ls v and nothing comes close to a k swap so far I had a k24 on the bottle making 330 hp with a 75 shot and intake that's it lol it took me over 5k to make a beast b20v only making around 260hp k swap is the best building block out you can make power most cars will never see all motor trust me TEAM N/A860

I'm a B series freak since the begining but u cant knock the fact that K has taken over and has alot more potentiel than the B... But at the end of the day it all comes down to how deep ur pockets are... Not everybody can afford K so the next best thing is B

K is not as expensive as most pple think... And having had both engines apart, The K is a superior engine all around... I mean come on bottom line you cant compare 2002+ technology (k) to Early-Mid 90s technology (b).

If you build a computer right now with parts from 10 yrs ago, and a new one with all recent parts... which one wins? lol

I could make 340whp stock block with my BP, but I could do it much easier with a new MZR.

B's are Cheap & Proven powerplants no matter which way you look at it.

I think J's will be the next B-series. Relatively cheap & proven motors, just waiting on the aftermarket support to develop a little more.

chuck and eddies has complete k swap's for $1300-$1700 plus mounts. I don't think that's much due to the fact a b16 or gsr swap cost around 2k the big diff in money wise is most civic's B swaps are drop in and go. A k swap take a lil more brains and lil more cash but not much . Old is out new is in it will always be this way for ever if the b was so much better then why is the K swap the number 1 most wanted swap current to date by every big name Honda tuner known. A built b is now consider the broke mans K just look at the price drop in b swap parts. If you are a real tuner this is already well known . How about this take a ride in a b20v or what ever full throttle and then a K swap ? You will see then you can't judge this motor comparison due to some youtube videos lmao you need to see it to believe it Dyno sheets prove the power you make. You are the driver you make the numbers were it counts.
