B20 full out discussion!

I just looked on hmotorsonline.com I didn't see a B20Z. B20's have more torque than an LS and a bigger bore which gives it more potential but it's the weakest Honda block dude to the 84mm bore. It's the exact same block as the B18A/B "LS" just 3mm bigger in bore. I've seen some nasty B20/VTEC and B20 turbo setups.

i put a b20 from tigerjapaneses into my girls 4 door teggy thing runs mint.....was thinkin bout puttin on in my bubble...does anyone think that would be better than an ls?

only if its a JDM b20b or a usdm b20z. shit will move.

only if it is the z NOT the b...and for the op, if you are not going to open up the block then get the z, which has higher compression than the b and when you add your vtec head youll be a glad you chose the z over the b. and since your all motor stick with b16 or type r tranny...stay away from ls by any means...they are garbage!! and gsr trannies are not all motor trannies, idk why ppl keep recommending them for all motor....boost yes all motor no

It dosent say b20z but if you look at the specs of the 99-00 it says 146HP same as supposedly "b20z'' and the 96-98 spec says 126 the b20b non jdm. So im guessing the 99-00 is the b20Z

yeah jdm b20b....i got an usdm ls in my car now and its not bad but im gonna buy a new motor tomorrow cuz mine is smoking a little and its gonna either be the jdm b18b or b20b....u think the b20 will be quicker?....i have no plans on going b20v just gonna do some bolt ons and what not for a dd
