nope. doesn't misfire. it ran out of gas on my way home lastnight. On the road into my neigborhood. I rolled down to my drive way. Just couldn't make it in the drive way. Well. I hope it ran out of gas. If not then something else is wrong lol. I went out a lil bit ago and primed it over n over n it wouldn't start.

exhaust leak early in the exhaust system?

o2 sensor will give a lean reading. when you mash the gas it throws extra fuel in to compensate for the "missing" fuel, killing fuel econ.

Unplugging the o2 sensor gives the pcm no reading, so it will just guess and do it's best to get a good a/f mix. It will do an alright job and make the car run better, like you said it's doing, but obviously not as good as a having a plugged in o2 that's getting an accurate reading.
