Need help on my b20 swap in a eg hatch

    and the revving up and down at idle is called idle surge usually happens when the idle air control valve is bad making the ecu correct the air/fuel so the car won't just turn off but at times the ecu just can't compensate for the air electronically so maybe u should check that out as well

      Oo ok So thats the Right term..I was thinking it could be the iac but do you think I can use the single cam one?

        to be honest i never tried to use a single cam one so i couldn't tell you for sure but in my opinion it won't line up correctly just because of the difference in manifolds but don't take my word for it try it out i'm always open to learn something new lol

          I mean almost all the sensors are indentical and I'm not trying to buy parts like crazy that may not even solve the problem ya know but you have me a good lead thanks

            plug wise yes they are the same i mean the way they bolt up on the manifold may be different but like i said don't take my word it may work

              Recheck your work. trace all plugs all sensors make sure there all properly placed in. I had a similar problem with my swap. come to find out, it just needed some coolant.

                  failsafe u need to wire up the o2 because ur car thinks it blow the motor so it truns off so u cant do more damge to the motor iv only see this in ob0 cars but honda does wired shit some times and u meet have to run a p72 chiped becuase of the intake mani ls has more flow then the crv that could be the probolm wire it frist

                      Fixed! The problem was just the two plugs in the throttle body were switched onto the wrong sensor
