and the revving up and down at idle is called idle surge usually happens when the idle air control valve is bad making the ecu correct the air/fuel so the car won't just turn off but at times the ecu just can't compensate for the air electronically so maybe u should check that out as well

to be honest i never tried to use a single cam one so i couldn't tell you for sure but in my opinion it won't line up correctly just because of the difference in manifolds but don't take my word for it try it out i'm always open to learn something new lol

failsafe u need to wire up the o2 because ur car thinks it blow the motor so it truns off so u cant do more damge to the motor iv only see this in ob0 cars but honda does wired shit some times and u meet have to run a p72 chiped becuase of the intake mani ls has more flow then the crv that could be the probolm wire it frist
