D16Y8 cranks but won't kick over

Mark - I unplugged the dizzy, and unplugged the fuel to rail line..dipped the fuel line into a gas can, turn the key to aux and not even a drop came out the line.... Is it safe to say it's the fuel pump?

not yet. check to make sure the pump is getting 12v at the connector, if its not getting 12v check the fuse. if it is getting 12v then change the pump

make sure your turning the key to at least the on position, you can even crank the motor over for a couple seconds. reason for unplugging the distributor is so there is no spark you dont want any fires
