yo a ls will last you a long time... singles blow too quick... you cant even take a long trip wit a single... tha rods are way to weak and tha engine will blow quick as ************... ls engines will last and take more beating than a single sooo youll save money in tha long run... cus you wont have to keep buying or fixing your single dude lol true shit yo... i once took a long trip for about a hour coming home from camping... i raced a jetta and i blew ma engine...

I would say buy an ls. the swap isnt really that hard at all unless if your a dumbass, no need to dent your framerail I used my stock HF harness all I needed to do was extend the oil pressure light and reverse lights and it runs fine. paid 400 for the whole swap: engine tranny and mount conversion with 130,000 miles. Made it all the way to maine and back 8 hours one way...LS is a pretty reliable engine.
