Arrested for having a motor w/ no papers!?!?

wtf? some1 jus told me that ct just passed a law last week that if the boys catch u with a motor under the hood that doesnt belong there and u have no papers that they take ur wip from u! his brother got his bubble taken away cuz he had a gsr....is this tru has ne heard of dat shit?

well fist they need a warent to look under the hood so any one that let the cops look with out one is a fool and i dont think they can do shit with out paper work since not ever car sold with a different motor in it has motor papers i am sure they will watch some people known to have shady swap and then bust them... but they wont be doing random motor cheak points

this got something similar in MA, 75% of swaps in CT have no papers or later come out stolen

I think MA,NY,NY,PA also have a big perCentage jealous1shaterid..I know CT is horrible but so is other states. I went up to mass about a month ago and my batterie left me stuck on a main road.all the young kids kept looking at it like if I was going to leave it so they could snatch all my shit.and mind u,its a mazdaspeed protege(turbo) ,not a Honda smfh.will they take your car if u don't have papers?YES ..my boys h22 accord wagon was taken from him and his was a jdm h22 .a few days later it was released to him since they had papers and all but just not at the moment

There are a million sayings that explain why it doesn't matter if you bought the car with the swap already in it. If the motor is stolen, you are buying stolen property, which is a crime in itself. But in regards to this new law, you can't ssay "I didn't know it was stolen" because you knowingly bought the car without any reciepts or paperwork to prove where the motor came from.

I believe in running the vin on a motor or trans but automatically takin a car with a different motor is bullshit... nowadays u don't find a civic or acura with a stock motor... somebody needs to look this up and c if its true...

his shit got taken cause the motor was probably stolen i got pulled over in hartford i let them check my shit cause i have all paperwork all they did was give me a ticket for not having my front plate in da front bumper.... i was lucky i had all my paperwork to da motor in da car if not they would of took it into i can i prove that da motor is legit.
